1. What are your hours of operation?

Stash Wines is closed to the public but our website never sleeps. During normal business hours you can reach us at 415-785-8947 or email us at scot(at)

2. What's your return policy?

We will replace or refund you for any bottle of wine that is damaged, flawed or that you deem unsatisfactory within 30 days of the purchase date. Please send an email to info(at) to arrange for the return of corked or flawed product.

Once the wine is received we will refund your credit card account for the cost of the wine less shipping and handling. If the original shipment was damaged or flawed you will receive a full refund, including shipping and handling charges.

Making you happy makes us happy!

3. Do you offer any discounts?

Yes! We offer a 10% discount on most orders of 12 bottles or more.

4. What if I don't see the wine I'm looking for?

5. Do you ship to my state?

Stash Wines ships to several states within the U.S. Contact us if you don't see your home state listed.

6. How do you find the wines you carry?

We know there's a lot of wine out there and not all of it is great. Every week we are meeting with winemakers or distributors tasting many, many wines. If they're not coming to us, we are going to them and seeing firsthand (either at the winery or in the vineyard) what makes a certain wine truly stand out. When we find it, you'll get that email you've been waiting for.

7. How are the wines stored?

The wines we ship to you are direct from the winery or from select distributors. The wines are always secure and always temperature controlled (between 58-62 degrees year round). One of our top priorities is keeping the integrity of the wine that will eventually be on your table.

8. What are your main methods of shipping? 

Most orders shipped within California will be shipped via Golden State Overnight and arrive to you within 24 hours of being shipped from our warehouse. Orders shipped outside California will be shipped using UPS. Delivery times (outside California) vary depending on if you choose GROUND, 2 Day or 3 Day Express when placing your order. Once your order is placed, it will be processed within 24 hours. If your order is placed on a Friday it will ship on the following Monday unless you specify otherwise.
