Farm Worker, Chardonnay, Napa Valley 2014
Before the bottling, the barrel aging, the fermenting and the harvesting, the farming begins. Over 40 years ago, Lupe Maldonado moved to California from a small farming town in Mexico. He worked tirelessly for years throughout many vineyards in Napa Valley and finally settled in St. Helena. In the 90s, he purchased a 10 acre parcel in southern Napa Valley and began his own wine brand. In 1999, his son Hugo succeeded him and soon after, Hugo and winemaker Jean Hoeflilger (Alpha Omega Winery) would begin a partnership to produce the best wines possible.
This is 100% Chardonnay. Lovers of this varietal will recognize the quality after just one sip. Farm Worker is loaded with classic Napa Valley Chardonnay flavors of pear and apple balanced with flawless acidity. Truly a pleasure to drink anytime. 13.5% alc.
